This is a list of commonly used terminology in the Taekwondo School:

Bowing in at the beginning of class:

Class Leader:“Charyut, Face the flags, Kukki Kyungne”    (Attention, Salute)
.                            Facing the instructors: “Charyut, Kyungne”    (Attention, Bow)
Class:
                 “Anh Young Ha Shim Nika”                            (Hello) very formal

Bowing Out at the end of class:

Class Leader:  “Chary-ut, Kyung-ne”                                      (Attention, Bow)
Class:
                  “Kam Sa Ham Nida”                                              (Thank You)

Commands used in class:

Charyiot            Attention
Joonbi               Ready
Seijak                 Begin
Parro                 Return to Ready
Kueman            Stop
Dwiro dora       Turn around    (turn to left, pivot on right foot)
Shiuh (show)                 Relax

Commands used in Sparring:

Kalyeo            Break (when sparring)
Kaesok            Resume    (when sparring)

Cheong          Blue
Hong              Red

Kyonggo       Warning (1/2 point deduction)
Gamjam        Penalty (1 point deduction)
